Can I edit the text on each slide?
Yes — each page's text is placed back on top as real, selectable text boxes at its original position. The slide's background is a high-resolution image of the original page, so moving a text box reveals the original text still sitting in the image underneath it.
Why keep the background image at all?
It is what preserves everything a text-only conversion would lose — images, logos, shapes and exact layout — so the slide still looks right at a glance, with editable text layered on top of it.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Partly: every page becomes a slide image either way, but a scanned page has no text layer to place editable text boxes over, so only the picture comes through on those slides.
Is it free?
Yes. Every tool works without paying and without an account. Files can be up to 200 pages and 80 MB, and a run that fails costs you nothing.
Do I need to create an account?
No. All tools work without signing in. An account raises your hourly allowance and lets you see what you have processed.
What happens to my file?
It travels over an encrypted connection into a directory created for that single request, is processed, is returned to you, and the working copy is deleted as the request finishes. We keep a record that an operation ran — never the filename or the contents.
