PDFescape has been around a long time, and its free online editor is still handy for one job: filling in and marking up a PDF without an account. The limits show as soon as you need more. On the free plan you cannot change the text or images already in a PDF, merge files, take pages out, compress, convert to Word, or add page numbers or a watermark. Those are Premium. Digital signing and redaction are on Ultimate. Free files can be up to 10 MB, and an ad-free workspace is one of the things Premium adds.
