What else the SSC CGL form checks
- There is no photo to upload: the form takes a live photo on the website or in the mySSC app. A photo of a photo is refused.
- For the live photo: good light, plain background, camera at eye level, no cap, mask or glasses.
- A blurred or tiny signature is refused. Sign large enough to fill the picture.
- Older notices (CGL 2023) asked for a 4.0 × 2.0 cm signature and an uploaded photo; the 2026 notice changed both.
SSC CGL photo size: questions
What is the SSC signature size?
10 KB to 20 KB, JPG, about 6.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high, in the CGL 2026 notice. The notice gives centimetres, not pixels, so this page sets the KB limit and keeps your signature's shape. Crop it close before you add it.
Where do I upload my SSC photo?
You do not. The CGL 2026 form captures a live photo with your camera. Only the signature is uploaded.
