What is the BCS photo size?
In the 51st BCS circular: 300 × 300 pixels, up to 100 KB, colour JPG. The signature is 300 × 80 pixels, up to 60 KB.
Can I use the same photo for BCS and other government jobs?
Usually yes. BCS and most government job forms on Teletalk use the same 300 × 300 and 100 KB photo. Keep the file you download here and you can reuse it.
Why does the portal still say my photo is wrong?
The Teletalk portal checks more than the size. A black and white or greyscale photo is refused, and so is a picture where it cannot find a face. Use a recent colour photo of your face, with no cap or dark glasses, then make it 300 × 300 pixels and 100 KB or less here.
Does my photo leave my phone?
No. The resizing happens on your phone or computer. The photo is never uploaded to KovaPDF.
