Everything Compress PDF to 100 KB can do

Get a PDF under 100 KB for an upload form or a job portal, with the text still sharp. Free, online.

How hard it squeezes

  • Light: barely touches image quality, so the document stays print-ready
  • Recommended: clearly smaller, still good on screen and on paper
  • Strong: the smallest result, made for photo-heavy documents
  • To a size: 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB or a size you type
  • Only the images inside are resampled

What stays sharp

  • Text stays vector text, not a picture of text
  • Fonts stay embedded, so it opens the same everywhere
  • Line art and diagrams keep their clean edges
  • Every page kept, and the page count stays the same
  • Page size, orientation and order all unchanged

The size you end up with

  • The before and after size, both shown on the result screen
  • The percentage saved, measured from the two real files
  • When a size limit cannot be reached, the smallest size it could make, said plainly
  • Your original file stays exactly as it is on your computer
  • One compressed PDF to download, named after your document

Frequently asked questions about Compress PDF to 100 KB

Why do forms ask for a PDF under 100 KB?

Job portals, exam boards, visa and government sites often cap uploads at 100 KB so their systems stay fast. A scanned certificate or a phone photo of a document is usually far bigger, which is why the upload gets refused.

Will my PDF definitely get under 100 KB?

Most scans of one or two pages do. The pictures inside are made smaller step by step until the file fits. A long document, or one full of fonts and drawings, may not get that small; then you get the smallest version it could make, and its size is shown so you know.

Will the text go blurry?

Real text stays sharp at any size, because only the pictures are made smaller. A scanned page is itself a picture, so it softens as it shrinks, but a one-page scan at 100 KB normally stays readable.

It is still too big. What can I do?

Split it with Split PDF and compress each part, or take out pages you do not need with Organize PDF. Fewer pages is the surest way under a small limit.

Can I pick a different size?

Yes. The same tool offers 200 KB, 500 KB and 1 MB, or you can type any limit from 10 KB up.

Does anything change apart from the size?

No. Every page stays, in the same order and at the same page size. Only the pictures inside are lowered in resolution.

Is it free?

Yes. Every tool works without paying and without an account. Files can be up to 200 pages and 80 MB, and a run that fails costs you nothing.

Do I need to create an account?

No. All tools work without signing in. An account raises your hourly allowance and lets you see what you have processed.

What happens to my file?

Your file stays on our server only for a short time while it is processed, then it is deleted. It is sent over an encrypted connection. We keep a record that the tool was used, but not the file name or what is in the file.
